Well, I noticed that the last few entries have actually indicated in the titles what the journals are about rather than just randomly grabbing movie quotes.. Hmmm.. I might have to change that sometime soon. Would help though if I had seen some decent movies lately.
In the last week or two we've rented a few different movies. First of all, there was Little Man, which was how can I say it.... very not good? It just... I don't even know.. It kinda sucked.. Kinda sucked bad. We also rented that movie that is supposed to be inspired by American Idol and stars Mandy Moore, but I forget the name of it. That one I didn't watch because I wanted to get some sleep because I had to work in the morning. Oh, and incase you were wondering, Jay chose those two movies. Yeah, pretty crappy choices, eh? Also a few days back we rented Clerks 2. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but it wasn't all that great either. Had some funny moments throughout the movie but it wasn't enough to really make the movie good. So if you're thinking about renting either Clerks 2 or Little Man, I wouldn't recommend spending the cash.
So earlier today Jay and I went into Angola to meet up with Jenn, Rilee and Kennedy. Yesterday they met up with my dad, but I guess he forgot to take some pole for a Christmas tree that they needed. Since today was my day off we went and took it to them and went to Applebees. Of course, I ordered the greatest meal ever, chicken fingers, which I always get at any restraunt that is similar to Applebee's, whether it be Garfields, Ruby Tuesdays or... well... thats all I can think of. But anyway, aside from that we went over to Meijer too. So yeah, we didn't really do a whole lot in Angola, but it was fun. Always like heading in there and meeting up with them. And you gotta love going to Applebee's and getting the greatest food ever, chicken fingers. One of these days though I need to try some of their drinks that have SoBe in them. Considering that I love SoBe, and am drinking one right now, I'll need to try those out.
So aside from that, I'd thought about going and finally seeing Borat. I'd been talking about maybe going to see it with some girl from work, which I figured I'd check to see if she wanted to go tonight. We were going to go, but the weather was a bit crappy and the roads were a bit icy. Jay and I went on a walk a little bit ago and several times I was sliding around. It was nice. So it probably is better that I didn't go today. She mentioned something about me picking the crapiest day to go, which might be true. But oh well.. Chances are we'll probably end up going to see it sometime this week.. More than likely on Wednesday. Oh, and quick question for anyone reading this. Have you seen Borat? I've heard it is funny but I'm still not so sure. I'll go see it, but I can't so that I think it looks all that funny. Any good? Well, if I go see it Wednesday I'll post about it on here in the next couple days.
As I mentioned in some previous entries, I started my CHristmas shopping. A few days ago I bought Rilee and Kennedy Ice Age and Ice Age 2, so now I've basically got the two of them done. I might end up buying some else too, but nothing too big. Already got Jaymie and Lindsey done, and I bought my dad Black Hawk Down Special Edition off of Ebay. Not sure if I mentioned that in an earlier blog/journal (whatever the hell you wanna call it), so I thought I'd just say it again.
So as far as gifts that I want for Christmas this year I'm not quite sure. Most of the video games that I would want I've already bought because I kinda have some money laying around now. Plus the only movies I can think of that I really want are Pirates of the Caribbean 2, which I'm buying tomorrow, and maybe Talladega Nights, which I'll also buy when it is released. Any other movies I'm not quite sure about. Might just ask for money and try and use that towards a Playstation 3, althought I've already acquired enough money to purchase one myself...

So the new FarCry is out now, and I'm not looking forward to it. This weekend a few of my friends want me to hang out with them and play FarCry because, well, they actually like the game.. Honestly, I don't... Granted I've never played it, but I have played the previous one and I all around don't care for first person shooters... Stupid FarCry.. I know Henning wants to go to Taco Bell, play some bball and then FarCry on Saturday, which I might try and drive myself over there and leave after we do the first two because I REALLY do not want to play FarCry.. I don't give a crap about FPS', at all..
On a sidenote, I'm going to stop by GameStop later to see if they have KH2 yet.. I'm not sure if they will, but if they do I'll get it.. I put $5 down on it a while ago, so I'll have to go and check..
It was nice, earlier in class we discussed videogames for around 20mins.. It was... odd, but nice.. We didn't really do any work or anything, so that was interesting.. I also brought my PSP to school with me because I have three hours or so off and I figured I'll keep myself a little occupied with playing either Popolocrois or Generation of Chaos..

So I've been done with my first class of the day for a little while now.. We didn't really do much today.. I turned in a case study that I had to do and then we came down to the lab and worked on our final project, which is a business plan.. I'm not 100% sure what my business is going to be, but I'll figure that out one of these days.. Might just go ahead and try to make a store similar to say, a GameStop or something.. I don't know.. We'll see..
Speaking of GameStop, I headed over there a little bit after class.. I got out of class at 9:13, and my second class doesn't even start till 12:30, so I decided to go and do something. Got there, looked at all of their used games, and couldn't really find anything I wanted. But I ended up buying Daxter for the PSP. I don't actually have a PSP yet, but I think I'm supposed to be getting one pretty soon.. If not, oh, well.. I actually asked for a review copy of the game, but I don't think I'll be getting one.. And besides, if I do get one, I'll just sell a copy on Ebay or something.. I was thinking about just putting all my money down on ordering Kingdom Hearts 2, but to be honest I'm looking forward to playing Daxter more then KH2.. I'm sure KH will be a great game, but Daxter is Daxter... I mean, it will be weird without Jak, but Daxter was always an interesting character..
Anyway, I'm on here looking at upcoming DVD releases and I see BloodRayne 2 is coming out in May... Man, even the DVD cover looks stupid..
And I noticed that it says it comes with the complete BloodRayne 2 game for PC.. Wow, thats when you know a movie really sucks is when they add the entire videogame to the movie. Movie looks so bad..
So a few days back was my 21st birthday.. We really didn't do anything.. Pretty much all I did was sat upstairs bored.. My mom mentioned about taking me out for dinner but we didn't do anything.. It was a fun night.. Jenn was here for a few days and for my birthday she bought me a few beers.. Ha, my mom loved that.. She was pretty upset with my dad and said something alone the lines of, "all my life I try to get our kids not to drink", and I just laughed.. It was stupid.. Well, the stuff was all right,but I'm not a big fan of any sort of alcohol..
Oh, by the way.. I don't know if anyone has seen any previews for the stupid VH1 show with Tori Spelling, So NoTORIous? But if you have, am I the only one who thinks it looks horrid? I saw a little preview of it and it was.... awful... And seriously, who cares about Tori SPelling? She sucks..
On a side note, it is Gary Oldmans 48th birthday.. He rocks.. Plus its that stupid bitch Rosie O' Donnells's 44th birthday.. She sucks.

Well, I'm done with my first class and just sitting down here in the lab playing some games... I'm playing this Raiden X game on crazymonkeygames.com . It is similar to all of those old arcade games where you play as a plane and fly through levels shooting stuff.. Well, it isn't similar, it is the exact same thing.. It's a pretty fun game, actually.. Good way to spend a lot of boredom.. I guess I could finish Test 7 for my Small Business Class, but eh... I'll save it.. I finished 5 and 6 on Tuesday and got a 90% on both, and they aren't due for a while, so I'll wait..
Anyway, today I have to drive up to Owosso to pick up Jay. It will probably be a pretty boring ride. After all, I have to go up there all myself, which will be fun. My dad did want someone to go up with me incase I got tired of driving, but I don't know of anyone. Levi has to work, my mom has to work, and pretty much the same as everyone else.. I asked my friend Donald, but I don't think he really wanted to go, which I don't blame him.. Guess it is good that my grandma or grandpa aren't going. That would probably be the worst 4hrs of my life. The entire ride I wouldn't be able to listen to the music that I wanted, I would feel very uncomfrotable and... all we would talk about is the weather and deer... But since I'm going alone I can listen to Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 and the soundtrack for Nocturne. I brought all of them along with me. Probably should have brought my Tool cd's and so on, but I forgot them in the house..
So last night I met my dad in Adrian and we went out to Wendys. I was coming home by myself and it was around 8ish, so a little dark, and all of a sudden I see the car in the other lane slowing down and put on their flashers. I began to slow down and pull over because I figured a police car or something was coming, so I get ready to stop and a fuckin' dog runs right in front of me.. Thing is lucky it didn't get hit. So once I stop, I look a little bit ahead and I see that there are two people standing in the middle of the road with two small flashlights. Both are wearing all dark colors and are seriously lucky I didn't run them over.. Stupid idiots.. I was pretty pissed, actually..
Anyway, I got home last night and I was excited to see that the Princess Bride was on AMC. I missed most of it, but I started watching it once they began torturing Westley.. So yeah, I watched the rest of it and when it ended I started changing it around and to my surprise, it had just started again on VH1! So of course, I had to rewatch the movie. It is so cool.. I remember back in the day Anthony would always make fun of me for loving it because for some stupid reason he would get it confused with the Princess Diaries.. Obviously, he had never seen it. Must of been too busy with TRL and Real World.. But anyway, I watched that and enjoyed it again..
Also, last night while surfing the web I came across some news that was a bit... disturbing.. A few years ago I read somewhere that Larry Wachowski, one of the creators of the Matrix, had thought about having a sex change.. Well, guess he's gone ahead and done it because at the premiere of V for Vendetta he was a woman... The first picture is old Larry...

Since I haven't updated in a while, this might be a long one..
Well, a lot of stuff has happened. On March 4th I scratched up my dads car. Or at least the hood. We were driving back from Ft Wayne and it was about midnight and I pulled into what kinda of looked like a driveway to turn around in but it wasn't. There was a path there, but it had a long metal chain across it, so there is a few scratches on the hood. Of course, my dad was pretty happy about that.
So in the last month or so I've got a crap load of games... Seriously, I've probably gotten 9 or so and I'll be getting more throughout March. I haven't beat a single one of them and more than likely won't for a looong time, but one of these days maybe. My favorite so far would have to be the newest Shadow Hearts game, but I really like Tales of Legendia too. I got Dragon Quest VIII which is supposed to be awesome but I ended up quiting it to play Shadow Hearts..
Just took a test few minutes ago. It is for my business class which we have all the tests online.. I scored a 90, but for some odd reason he changed the time limit for the tests for 2hrs instead of 1 and there are still only 20 questions. Nice, huh? I still have a couple more I have to finish by this weekend, so I might just do one right now and save the other until Wednesday..
Well, maybe this will be a little shorter then I planned.. I can't think of anything else to say.... Umm... |

Well, I'm sitting here in class, and out of our 30 or so people in the class, there are a whopping 9 of us. Nice, huh? We have a quiz every class, so I guess we are just going to do it together.. So, I should get a 100, which I'd probably get anyway, but still.. Now I won't have to look for the answers. I've already started the quiz but I'm only like... 7 questions done..
Anyway, after this class I start my Spring Break.. I'm happy.. I can't wait to be off school for a week. Only crappy thing is, which my dad informed me, that we could possibly get the cabinets for the kitchen while I'm on break, so my entire break will more than likely be filled with helping with the kitchen.. *sigh* Also, I think we are going to Jenn's tomorrow for her birthday. Not sure yet, but I think. Depends on the weather and all. My birthday is coming up soon too! Yippy! I'll be 21, and I'm pretty sure my mom wants to do something so that she can make sure I don't go out drinking or something..
Man.. there was a lot I wanted to say, but I forgot what. Oh, well.. Maybe I'll actually listen to the teacher now.. |

We're just back here talking for a little bit and all of a sudden she stands up and says something. All I could really understand was something about our "fucking conversation" and then she went up and sat in the front... Pff... Loser... The consultant guy was like, "Mrs., if you wanted us to be quiet all you had to do is ask", but she just ignored him and took off acting all bitchy... |

So nothing really going on, but I'm just sitting around so I thought I'd update a little.
Well, last night I hung out with Levi again. Came into Adrian and stopped at Taco Bell for some food. Probably going to do something after I get out of class because he got paid yesterday but needed to cash his check today. Wouldn't doubt we end up going to Taco Bell again, but hey, it rules so I don't mind..
Oh, and did anyone happen to catch the NBA All star game on Saturday? I was rooting for the West, which was actually the first time ever. The East really didn't have any players I like, and considering that nearly the entire Pistons team was on there, I was even less happy with them. But the West had Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki, so I had to cheer for them. Well the game sucked and the West lost. There were a whole lot of turnovers, missed shots and just overall crappy performances. It was obvious that Lebron James was trying to win MVP, which he did.. Still, the worst part of the entire evening was the stupid half time show and opening. For some god awful reason they had Destiny's Child sing the national anthem, and then they had the girl who won the last American Idol do the half time show. Not only did her song kind of suck, but seriously, who watching the NBA All-Star game wants to watch some pop (or country) singer? It sucks.. It's like when they have all these stupid singers do the Super Bowl halftime show. No one cares about these crappy pop singers, especially those that are watching the game.. Idiots.. Definately one of the worst All-Star games that I can remember..
Anyway, I found out that SoBe has changed all of their labels! I wasn't sure if they changed all of them or just a few, but I went on their site and I guess they changed every single one. They look all right. Guess a little better then some of the old ones, but I didn't really care about the label, I love the taste. So changing the label isn't going to personally affect me or anything..
So I have a test in my math class later. Kinda sucks because I left my calculator at home and I have a little homework I need to finish. I have about.. 3 and a half hours to finish twelve problems, so I should be able to do it. But I need a calculator so I'll have to stay here in the lab and use the one on the computer.. Maybe I'll get to working on that. Well, in a second..
Our kitchen still isn't done.. It sucks really bad... I have no clue when the cabinets are coming in and hell, the floor isn't even completely done yet. I seriously don't understand why they didn't wait to work on this. Plus it doens't help that I really don't like the wallpaper or the paint, but whatever. Like I told them, I'm not going to be in the kitchen enough to really care about it, but it is a little annoying that when you walk out and look at it you become dizzy..

Nothing much going on, but figure I'll update.
So the last few days I've had to wake up earlier than usaul, which sucks. I guess Jamie (my brother) lent his truck out to one of his friends and probably won't be getting it back for a little while. He said it would only be three days because his car is in the shop, but I'm sure it will be more.. So anyway, I've had to get up, drive over there, pick him and the girls up and bring them either to the house or drop them off at school. Yesterday I dropped them off at school, but today because I have school myself, I couldn't drop them off and they had to walk from our house.. This whole thing isn't really that big of a deal, but it sucks having to get up that early on non-school days. But, oh well..
So we've got the kitchen closer to being done. All of the drywall is up and we've got the mud on the walls. Next we'll have to start sanding, which I'll probably have to do either tomorrow or when I get home tonight. I hate sanding, it sucks bad. I really can't wait to get this whole thing over with because, well, I just want to get it over with. Occasionally my grandpa will come over and check things out and help out a little, which actually is kind of weird and uncomfrotable. After all, this is the only time he ever comes over and he probably hasn't been there in.... oh, god.. Who knows how long.. Of course my grandma never shows up because I don't think they like us, but still... It's a little odd with him over there..
On Sunday I actually hung out with Levi. We went to adrian, and hung out Wal-mart, the mall and we were going to see a movie, but there really isn't anything good playing or else he'd seen everything. I mentioned Narnia or Underworld 2, but he said he'd seen both and Underworld 2(like everyone else) sucks bad.. So we decided not to go and see anything. Probably end up hanging out this weekend because I guess his work schedule conflicts with his girlfriends now, so of course, he's going to be around a lot more, and on weekends. So we'll probably do some stuff every now and then. And well, considering I haven't talked to Mark in... almost four months, and I only hang out with Henning every so often, might as well hang out with Levi. After all, the only other choice I have is Allen, and we don't talk too often and he can be a bit annoying after a while..
Okay, so I'm looking at some of the news on IMDB and I saw this. Anyone remember the chick who was Tara Reid's friend in American Pie? Well, her real name is Natasha Lyone, and I guess there is a warrant for her arrest because she missed a court date.. Here are some of the things it said she did.. "The troubled 26-year-old actress is facing a number of charges, including criminal mischief, harassment and trespassing. Lyonne also allegedly threatened to sexually molest her former neighbor's dog during a 2004 altercation. " Interesting, eh?
Also, wanted to say that I watched the preview for Scary Movie 4 last night. Not only was the preview poor quality, but the movie looks...well.. really bad.. Really really really bad.. Recommend you check it out though. It looks bad... They have far too much of an infatuation with Tom Cruise in this one. Not only do they spoof a lot of War of the Worlds in the storyline but it seems they spoof his whole Oprah performance. I mean, come on.. What the hell? Granted, the guy might be nuts, but that whole thing is a little old by now, isn't it?

This is going to be a long one..
So not really a whole lot going on right now. Just sittin' around, watching Spider-Man on TBS. Even though I own the movie, I'm not really a fan of it. The second was all right, but the first one I think kind of sucks. And well, can't forget the Green Goblins awesome Power Rangers costume. Always thought it was kind of funny how he is creepier without his costume on.. Oh, well..
Anyway, so this weekend I had a few things planned out, mostly hanging out with a few friends, but thats it. Henning and I were going to do our normal Taco Bell run and then go back to his house or here and play some NBA Live 2006. But, those plans got a little pushed back because I had thought that we were going to pick up Jay, and I was helping a little with the kitchen, so I cancelled. And then today, I was supposed to hang out with Levi. He had called a few days ago, so I'm not sure if something came up and he wasn't able to do anything today or what, but he never called and I never called him, so those plans got delayed. For the most part, I helped out with the kitchen again. We got all the drywall up on the cieling, which wasn't exactly easy. Hopefully we can get all of the drywall done tomrrow, but we won't be done with the actual kitchen for a long time. They have said that the cabinets aren't even supposed to come in for like.. 3weeks.. So this is going to kind of suck..
So a few days ago I went and picked up Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition. First I went to Game Crazy, but the workers had no idea what I was talking about. The guy there asked me, "What is the Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition?" . I was like, wow, you suck.. It wasn't the guy that I normally see there, which is actually the first time he wasn't there. I kind of wonder if he might be a manager or something because he is literally ALWAYS there.. But anyway, I decided to go to GameStop, who had it. I know Jay will love this, but while I was there the guy working tried to constantly get me to either A) Pre-order some game or B) Buy something else.. While I was paying he started asking me, "You want anything else? What about Pre-ordering, we've got a bunch of good games coming out?" So when I said no, he started asking, "What kind of games you like? First Person Shooters?" Of course, I don't really care for them, so I said no. Then he asks, "What about racing?" Again, nope, not at all. So then he asks, "What about RPG's?" So I say, yeah, I like those.. Then he starts to tell me all about how I should pre-order Kingdom Hearts 2. When I said no, I'm too cheap, he continued to tell me, "Come on, you can put down only $5 on it." *sigh* They remind me of those people at McDonalds that ask you, "Would you like that super-sized?" It's like, if I wanted it super-sized I would ask for it...
Oh, this part just happened in Spider-Man, and I found it funny. Okay, the scene where Norman Osbourne discovers that Peter is Spider-Man, you know, from the cut at the dinner table? Well, what I think is funny is that when Harry and Norman go out in the hall and Norman begins talking bad about Mary Jane. Well, Harry mentions, "You're wrong about her, dad", but then when he goes back in Mary Jane sarcasticly complains, "Thanks for sticking up for me". Um, isn't that what he just did? And then when Mary Jane is leaving, she says, "Thanks Aunt May".. Hahaa.. So what, does everyone call her Aunt May? Is it kind of like how everyone calls Josh's uncle Rick, Uncle Rick?
Some more random videogame stuff.. Thursday I ordered both Digital Devil Saga 2 and Nocturne from Atlus. Honestly, one of these days I should try and order Phantom Brave from them. A new copy of the game is only $35, so a used copy would probably be nearly half that. And well, since they love me I'm sure that they would give me an even bigger discount. I'm pretty happy to be getting both DDS2 and Nocturne. I had the trade demos of both games but I'd much rather have the actual cases and games. I'll be happy.
So I still haven't gone and seen the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe... One of these days I really need to get around to going and seeinng it. Sometime in February, Jackie and I might go and see it just because neither of us have seen it yet and well, for something to do.. Not really anything else to do around Hudson. If it is in theaters still, then I'm sure we'll see that, if not, who knows.. Talked about seeing Underworld 2, but I know she hasn't seen that and Jay says it sucks, so who knows.. Both my mom and aunt want to see it too, so maybe I'll just go and see it with them.. I don't know..

Well, I'm bored... Already had one of my classes today and now I'm just waiting for the other. Earlier, I decided to take back our pop bottles, and I got $12 from it, yippy! So then I decided to head on over to GameCrazy and see if they had the Greatest Hits version of Devil May Cry 3, but they don't. He said I could probably check back tomorrow. So, chances are I'll head back over and try and get it Thursday or so. I'm more than likely going to trade in my original copy of DMC 3 and try to use that toward the purchase of the special edition. While it might only give me like.. $5, the special edition is only supposed to be $20..
So, anyway, I'm just hanging out here, waiting for my class. I still have an hour and a half for it to start. It kinda sucks.. I would of drove around more but I went to all the stores I really care about (Meijer, Walmart) and it was starting to snow, so figured I'd head back.. Well, it stopped snowing, and now I'm a little bored... I'm hoping to get out of my class early because I think all we are doing is studying for our test on Thursday. Plus I'd like to get home and start on online test for another class, which is due Thursday morning at 8am. The good thing is that I dont have class on Thursday morning because my teacher also works at Siena Heights, and well.. he's one of the head dudes, or something, and he's got a meeting over there. So, no class.. That means I can sleep in... or help with the kitchen..
While I was at Game Crazy I noticed a few PS games that might be worth having, Wild Arms 2 (which I'd heard kinda sucks, but I think it was like, $4, and Chrono Cross, which I know is supposed to be awesome.. So maybe if I have a little extra cash on Thursday I'll try and pick those two up as well...
Anyway, guess I'll get back to surfing the net.. |
